Hello, Hello, Is this thing on?
That was my attempt to pretend like I was talking in a microphone to say hello.

It’s been a long time since the last time that I wrote, and it only fits that I would write on the first day of the month, my stepmom’s birthday, and the second day of the Elizabeth Holmes trial. So, this week’s edition is a little on the short side, but, next week I will be back in full swing; however, there were a few things that I wanted to share with you this week.
As mentioned above, this week marks the beginning of the scammer herself, Elizabeth Holmes’ trial. I’m not sure what the outcome will be, but here are a few pieces of media that I have been tracking this week - don’t judge me; I find this whole thing overly fascinating in an odd way.
The Dropout podcast is back and is now covering the trial.
New York Times - Schemer or Naif? Elizabeth Holmes Is Going to Trial
ABC News - Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes welcomes 1st child with partner Billy Evans ahead of a criminal trial
The Verge - Elizabeth Holmes’ defense likely includes testimony accusing her ex-partner of abuse.

Honestly, I’m a little overhyped for American Crime Story: The Impeachment, which comes out next week. I literally have my mocktail and outfit planned for the night. Also, what makes this so exciting for me is that Monica Lewinsky is involved.
I can’t get over how beautiful the new Cleo Sol album, Mother is. I have also been stuck on the new Leon Bridges album Gold-Diggers Sound and the song “Steam” is my favorite. This is also a great feature about the creation of Leon’s album and his background.
It’s a joyous occasion when some of your favorite music finally comes on streaming platforms. Not only is Aaliyah’s discography on streaming services, BUT finally, Big K.R.I.T’s albums and mixtapes are streaming - if you know me, you know I’ve been dancing and rapping around the living room.
Kanye finally released Donda, and although I’m still processing it, I actually don’t hate it. For years, although I used to be a fan of backpack Ye, I have felt like he overly produces his music sometimes, e.g., My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezus - this album feels the opposite to me, which I enjoy. I need to listen to it a few more times, but I’m not mad at it, although I still think those stadium tours were bizarre, especially during this panini press of a time we are living through.
If you have Netflix do yourself a favor and watch the Untold: Malice at the Palace documentary based on the brawl with the Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons.
That’s it for this week, but next week, I’m back with the rambles.
