Going out for Spring
This week is a short and sweet newsletter. Some changes are going on for your girl that I am both eager and excited about, and I will be taking a brief hiatus here. Think of it as a childless woman's spring break vacation. I will be back in your inboxes soon, and in the meantime, I want to leave you with a few things I consumed since last week that I thought were worth sharing.
Also, I wanted to mention that you can connect with me on social on @bellametaphor on both Twitter and Instagram. Additionally, I started a fun little side project centered around one of my favorite topics, digital organization called Erin Organizes (and no, it's not around closets - don't get why I keep getting this question). I started a monthly or some cadence newsletter for that here, which you can subscribe to if it tickles your fancy.
But yes, I miss you already.
My spring playlist is updated; listen here.
I've also been entirely late on two projects from Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper, Terrace Martin, and 9th Wonder called the Dinner Party and Dinner Party: Dessert. Both EPs are pretty tight. I've been playing "Love You Bad" by Malaya and Phoenix on repeat. And although it's a play on words, have you realized that many people have been in Phoenix recently? I've seen at least five people on my Instagram there today - tangent just thought I'd ask.

That’s it for this week, catch up with you soon.
