Cleaning out @Pocket again.
For the first week in recent months, last week’s music releases were a dud. There are always a few songs, or albums that come out that have me excited and there were NONE last week. That makes this week’s newsletter full of reads and a few other things that I thought worth being shared this week.

Thinking of how I feel somewhat complacent in my career these days, but trying to think of some ways to get out of that career funk - I found this article on the types of lists you need to have for your career to be pretty useful.
Perfection vs. Excellence // "In the chaos that arises from embracing my tendency to be a bit of a tornado—constantly losing things and making mistakes hourly—I’ve come to learn perfection is something I do for others, and excellence is something I do for myself."
I feel bombarded with to-do’s: the hell of life admin – and how to get on top // “The worst thing for me is modern society’s obsession with emptying the inbox and staying on top of all our communications. I think yes, and no – Can Bullet Journaling Save You? // “The real appeal of BuJo lies in the illusion of control it offers; anyone might be saved. “I just love crossing things off a list. I used to put things on my to-do list after I’ve done them, just so that I can cross them out.”
Beauty mogul, Huda Kattan's Facebook Watch series, "Huda Boss."
Dating apps are everywhere. Relationship apps are for what comes next // Interesting idea but not completely random. There’s literally an app for everything.
The Bleak Truth Behind My ‘Inspiring’ Path from Oakland to Yale // “When I decided to attend Yale five years ago, people held me up as an example of a black student who “beat the odds.” I wish they were more curious about why my brother wound up in prison instead.
For whatever reason, I’ve referenced this odd Summer Walker interview three times over the weekend. She talks about retiring to make soap, her lack of stage presence and getting a Nissan.
