To All The Boys I Loved Before
To all the boys I've loved before...
There hasn't been many that I've "loved" so I guess I'm okay. I love a great rom-com, and last weekend I watched the movie "To All The Boys I Loved Before" based on the book by Jenny Han, and I was in love. It's sweet and really had my heart fluttering. Apparently, Bustle enjoyed the movie as well--they literally wrote three articles about it which I put below. Nonetheless, check it out and let me know what you think. Additionally, I'm very excited because next week my grandparents and my mom will be visiting me--I'm a loved little honey.
Additionally, have you been watching OWN's show Love Is __? I've got many thoughts on the finale and the season in general and have come to the conclusion that I don't really like any of the people on the show. If you watch it please reply back and let me know so we can chat about it. If you don't watch it because you don't get the channel as I know many people I talk to have mentioned, don't you worry. I'm lowkey the plug and I'm hoping to spread gifts before my birthday, so I can get great gifts on my birthday (I give, you give--get it) here's a link to find all the episodes of the show--this is how I watch Power even though I've been protesting since they killed off my boo Julio.
Lastly, I finally saw Blindspotting over the weekend, and it was quite an interesting film. The Bay Area kid in me was like yep, too many of the things addressed--gentrification is happening all over the place but I think since I'm from the Bay Area I've noticed it first hand. I also loved the cameos from friends of mine throughout the feeling--the Bay Area really is the biggest small place I swear. Check it out while it's still out and really soak up the conversations.
P.S. as a somewhat piggy-back to last week's newsletter on finances, I wrote a cute little article for The Every Girl about finance tips for budget-friendly travel--check it out.
This week, I'm going to try to do things a little different. I've discovered two of my new favorite songs of the week on YouTube as it just autoplayed. Since I found them in video format, that's how I want to place them here this week--technology is great.
